Delicious fresh baked goods! There's a long line here especially on weekends so be prepared!! Their chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Loved the chocolate croissant, almond croissant and the breakfast sausage wheel. Such a great place to go during the weekend and stopping by the McKinney Farmers market at the same time. You won't be disappointed whenever you come here.

Bresnan is one of our favorite bakeries to go to in DFW. It has a great location in McKinney Square where you can walk up to it from anywhere there. They usually sell out pretty quick on the weekends and there's always a line but it's definitely worth it to get there early. Our favorite things to get are the seasonal danishes. Yuzu citrus, blueberry, and pistachio are among our go-tos. They have the best sourdough we've had here. We go for the country sour (oval) and the inside is very airy and springy while the crust is very crunchy. It has the perfect balance and tastes so good straight up or toasted with butter and honey. It's always a great experience going here and it really does feel like a European neighborhood bakery serving up high-quality pastries and breads with a Texas twist.

The most wonderful bakery with the loveliest staff! The breakfast sandwiches are made to order on weekdays with their house made biscuits and they are truly divine, and you must try the pizza as well! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here – our family also favors the quiche, sausage snail and ham & Swiss croissant. M Don’t let the long lines during busy hours scare you away – 1. It moves quick and 2. It’s worth it!!! ♥️

We were in McKinney for the weekend. Saturday, we stopped in because of the reviews. Sunday, we returned because of the food and the people at the bakery. The pastries are excellent. The only thing we had twice was the quiche (excellent, fluffy). We never had the same pastry twice as we wanted to try as many as we could. The sour dough bread is something that should not be missed either. There may be other places for breakfast in downtown McKinney but we will be coming back when we are visiting.

Stopped in this morning and knew it was gonna be good by the line of people waiting. The line moved quick though so don’t be deterred! The breakfast sausage pinwheel is amazing and the French onion danish was delicious. Also got a scone and some cookies for later and I can’t wait to try those.

Located just off the square in downtown McKinney. They have recently expanded to allow seating inside the bakery. They offer a wide range of breads, pastries, and coffee. They even do Pizza on Friday nights. I picked up a few items to take home for the family. I got the toasted almond croissant, Pain au Chocolat, Banana nut muffin with chocolate chips, Cinnamon roll, and Chocolate chunk cookie. Everything was outstanding. Clearly fresh made with great ingredients and bakers that know what they are doing. Their bread selection is amazing as well and I will try next time. This is a great place to have so close to home and the Square. It’s a must stop and you can pre-order to avoid some of the wait. They can get busy because it’s so good.

Well folks…the secret is out. Bresnan is a true gem. We have visited many times but this time we ordered ahead to get the Brioche bread. It was delicious as baked French toast. Totally worth the cost and effort. We are definitely picky about our food choices and this is a bakery we will continue to return to. We also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, snickerdoodle cookie and slice of coffee cake. It was all delicious. Thank you to the hard working employees at Bresnan.💕

Ordered various items. Everything was baked well. Some things I liked, some I didn't. I will say that their baguette is probably one of my favorites. Personally I like a hard baked baguette, but that didn't stop me from returning a couple of days later and buying 2 more. The staff is very nice and the bakery was very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Bresnan’s is the real deal. Just had 2 different quiches (bacon and asparagus), and the cardamom buns. Will have to save the danishes for later because the serving sizes are very very good. Just came back from 2 weeks in Tallinn, Estonia- a foodie’s paradise- and spoiled by the amazing cafe culture with exquisite pastries and the ubiquitous ‘cardamom bun’ that my husband fell hard for. So I wanted to surprise him by bringing Tallinn home to Texas. And Bresnan’s delivered. Victoria’s kind reassurance that there would probably be some cardamom buns left if I didn’t wait too long… was enough encouragement to get in the car and make the trek from my home a few towns over. Brought it home, brewed the coffee, and voila!- we were back in foodie-paradise Tallinn. Bresnan’s pastry freshness, flavor profile (HERBS! SPICE you can TASTE!), textures, aesthetics- everything about it is SPOT ON. You’re lucky, McKinney. No plane tickets required. You’re welcome.

I've come to downtown McKinney a few times, and I always noticed a long line of people here, so on this occasion, I let my curiosity take over. Let me just say, that the staff are extremely bright, energetic, passionate, and helpful. And the bakers are A-1 at what they do. Today I got the Tomato Pesto Basil Danish, Croissant Loaf, and the Vegetable Quiche, and all 3 of them were phenomenal. I wish I could afford to purchase everything on their menu. And that's one thing, it is a bit pricey. I know they use the best ingredients, but when 4 danishes cost $26, it's a bit tough to order a variety of things. Personally wish the prices were about 10 to 15% lower. But overall, phenomenal food, quality, and service. They also have a decent sized seating area as well. I highly recommend this bakery!
